I recently joined Capital IQ as an intern. This blog-post gives a brief overview of Capital IQ. In my subsequent posts, I will be explaining how I got into CIQ and my experiences there.

Capital IQ is a provider of information and analytical tools for investment bankers, money managers and other financial professionals. Capital IQ was founded in 1999 and currently operates as a division of Standard & Poor's after its acquisition in 2004.
